To raise your table tennis rating, playing a lot is not enough. You have to focus on each and every game, constantly thinking about what you need to improve, and keep honing your skills. That is why someone with 200 games can have a higher rating than someone with 2,000 or 3,000 games. Japanese, Kubernetes, and Hadoop all require the same fierce, relentless pursuit of perfection -- just like raising a table tennis rating.

I Got the Opportunity to Review Applications as an Interviewer

HBH Development Story
This was an eye-opening experience regarding documentation. When writing, I realized I had been writing thoughtlessly all along, without even properly considering subjects and verbs. I felt that writing is a fierce process of deliberating over the placement of sentences, the subjects, and the tone. I realized that even if you only speak Korean, someone who carefully chooses each word speaks well in English, Japanese, or any language.
Since HBH gave me this opportunity, I want to refactor HBH and create thorough, flawless test code.

I Became Curious About What Kind of Person Hyungjun Shin Is
A lead at the age of 33. I want to study Kubernetes hard and work with him someday. I wonder how good a developer needs to be to earn recognition at such a young age.
