I may seem like someone driven by intrinsic motivation, but I am actually someone greatly influenced by extrinsic motivation. Unless I am deeply embarrassed or shocked, I do not change easily and do not study properly. It is only when an opportunity to join the Cloud DBS team arises that I start studying Golang and Kubernetes. Also, being in a position to prepare for the Korea-China-Japan tournament...
I am definitely someone who changes through meeting people.
Interview Experience
I had the experience of reviewing applications and participating in first-round interviews as an interviewer for the HBase team. It was an opportunity to get a sense of what level I need to package myself at and how to prepare for interviews. As an interviewer, I felt that a person's ability clearly shows through the way they speak. People with higher education definitely have a more solid understanding and a faster learning pace. I also resolved to consistently practice expressing what I understand in my own words.
Cloud DBS Team
Talking with Hansol was so enjoyable, and it made me feel I should pursue this further. The Cloud DBS team members want to do native development, and the DB team wants to directly develop DBaaS, so the needs align perfectly.
Hosting the 11TT Korea-China-Japan Tournament
Since I need to meet Japanese and Chinese players on Eleven Table Tennis and discuss tournament preparations in English right away, it has become very real. I realized I need to build the ability to express what I want to say in English and Japanese whenever I can.

HBase Open Source Contribution
I had never had the chance to look into HBase open source, but by participating in the open source contribution program organized by Inje Kim, I have started digging into the HBase source code. At this point, the part I think I can contribute to is the underdeveloped web UI portion of HBase. https://github.com/apache/hbase/tree/master/hbase-server/src/main/resources/hbase-webapps/regionserver
