Grammar Points

~のですが (Explanation + Soft Request)

"予約をしたいのですが" = "I would like to make a reservation..." The のです explains the situation, and が softens the statement by trailing off.

~てください (Polite Request/Instruction)

"飲んでください" = "Please take (the medicine)" て-form + ください = "Please do ~"
